I am writing this review for the fact that i have an experience in playing somthing similar... back in my 8 bit pixel age i have managed to get my hands on the pack of old games and for the reason of playing an old indiana jones adventure game when the movie was out... thing is that the games name was similar to the game i wanna talk about and that name was just Mr.Jones and it was next to my indiana games... i automaticly assumed its one of the parts of indiana jones but it wasnt... surprisingly addictive Mr.Jones was a boom for me becose i even invited my friends over to see if thay have played this game and we had so much fun becose the game was EXACTLY same thing as yours with one little difference... even tho it didnt have this many jobs and wierd encounters it was a real challange to beat the AI... now thats where i am coming from. in your game there is no competition... i should be able to have AI opponent with a task of become a milionare and to be able to set its difficulty... also i should be able to set up a 2nd player and make a turn based challange... Another crucial part of your game and a massive differnce makes getting home in time.. which has to be done before the time to go to sleep... if not... you are losing 1/4 of a day becose you slept over... in Mr.Jones the AI on easy setting didnt have a clue how to sort the day out to be more profiting then yours and on a highest dificulty it just kept using bank to buy cheap and sell dearer for profit to overrun your "getting a better job" strategy so i would love to see the AI be more advanced than that... I am sorry but for that reason the game didnt impress me... well at least not like the old MR.Jonesthumbs up for a new job content and servises.. and you also need to make home more visually interactive with the player as in the old game you were able to see your appartment and new things added from the supermart...I am not gonna recommend this game to nobody becose the games really should go forwards and not backwards with evolution. Nice little game... Few non-blocking bugs.. I really like this game it is one of my favourites. as you might be able to tell with how many hours I've played. The only thing I would change is I would like more middle class white male avatars.. Not a bad game, basically a text version of the Sims brought down to the basics and a little harder. You can probably finish this game at the "normal" difficulty plus all tutorials and achievements in around 15 hours, tops. Feels like you could invest your time in other games, gets really repetitive and you basically just click on boxes until the week is done, refresh repeat, add some automations "services" and then lower the amount of clicks. Would need more content to be a recommended purchase. Get it on sale to kill the time. Quality concept, poor implementation. Reminds me a bit of Kudus, just not as fun. Got bored in about an hour. Like another reviewer stated, "I wanted to like this game" but it just wasn't fun.. I absolutely love this game. I love the time management and finance management of it. I would sit down to play and my real life time would disapper. I like starting with nothing and end up owning a business or two. I ended up with a graphic design business and started buying real estate to rent out for extra money. I can't wait to see what else the Dev adds to the game!. Absolutly loving this game....it took me maybe about 6 restarts to get the hang of how this game works but its awesome! For a E.A. game it runs great and there seems to be a fair amount of mechanics in game, well worth the $10 Looking forward to playing more and future updates.
